What began as a straightforward two-bathroom renovation for this mid-island home quickly evolved into a comprehensive whole-house project. Once we started demolition on the two bathrooms—which were stacked vertically—we discovered that the framing was in such poor condition that we had no choice but to reframe the entire structure surrounding both spaces.

As this work progressed, our clients recognized an opportunity. Rather than tackle the renovations they’d been planning for later, they decided to move forward with a complete transformation of their home.

The Full Scope

The project expanded to include:

• Complete interior and exterior painting
• Full electrical rewiring to bring the home up to current code
• New plumbing throughout
• New flooring in every room
• All new interior doors and trim
• Fireplace upgrades and new gas supply lines

Bathroom Features

Working closely with our trusted subcontractors, we installed luxury radiant heat flooring in both bathrooms, along with custom-fitted cabinetry and medicine cabinets that maximized storage while maintaining a sleek aesthetic.

Bringing Everything Up to Code

A significant part of this project involved modernizing the home’s electrical system. We rewired much of the house to meet current building codes and installed updated light fixtures throughout, ensuring both safety and style.
